hololive Grand Reception ~感謝を込めた招待状~ is a major official hololive production touring exhibition created to celebrate the support behind hololive’s ninth anniversary. The Tokyo edition will transform TOKYO DREAM PARK into a themed reception where visitors are treated as invited guests rather than simply exhibition attendees. The experience combines character displays, interactive content, photography opportunities, specially recorded audio, collectible admission benefits, merchandise, and fan-participation elements.
The Tokyo exhibition is divided into two periods: October 10–28 and October 31–November 23, with October 29–30 reserved for an exhibition changeover. Some displays and merchandise will differ between the first and second periods, giving returning fans a reason to experience both halves.
The central exhibition features 63 hololive talents and is designed around a party and reception theme. Visitors move through areas including the Welcome Area, Opening Theater, hololive PARTY TIME, IF STORY, Guest Lounge, SECRET GARDEN, SEE OUT hololive, and the hololive SPECIAL STORE.
Do you know? Planning events, festivals, concerts, and cultural experiences in Japan can be overwhelming. Japan Travelo brings everything together in one place, helping you manage your itinerary, transport, and accommodation with ease—so you can enjoy Japan without the stress of planning.
A major attraction is the hololive PARTY TIME area, where all 63 featured talents are represented. The exhibition invites guests to photograph the displays, discover answers to a nine-question format about individual talents, and look back at hololive’s development through costume and visual displays. Recreated versions of the Origin, Bright and Color Rise costumes used in live events are also included.
The exhibition also introduces hololive Sign Simulation, allowing visitors to select one of the participating talents and experience a simulated signing moment. A special printed photograph-style souvenir with a dated presentation mount is provided as part of the experience. A separately priced audio guide uses newly recorded voices prepared specifically for this exhibition.
The Tokyo edition runs across two exhibition periods:
The first period lasts 19 days and the second period lasts 24 days. The exhibition is therefore open for 43 operating days in total, excluding the two changeover days. Some content and event merchandise change between the two periods.
Opening hours are:
The event is not a traditional multi-day gaming convention with a single fixed daily programme. Instead, visitors select an admission date and, on applicable dates, an admission time. The exhibition itself is not divided into repeated stage performances.
The Tokyo venue is TOKYO DREAM PARK, with the exhibition located on the 7th floor in EX STUDIO7.
Venue: TOKYO DREAM PARK 7F, EX STUDIO7
Address: 3-3-8 Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo 135-0063, Japan
The venue is located in Ariake, an established entertainment and exhibition district close to Tokyo Big Sight and the waterfront area. Its location makes the event convenient to combine with other attractions around Ariake, Odaiba and Tokyo Bay.
TOKYO DREAM PARK is a multi-purpose entertainment complex operated by TV Asahi. For this event, the 7th-floor EX STUDIO7 is transformed into the reception-themed hololive exhibition.
The official venue access information confirms that Tokyo Big Sight Station on the Yurikamome line is approximately five minutes away on foot, while Kokusai-Tenjijo Station on the Rinkai Line is approximately nine minutes away.
Although the event is presented under the requested gaming-style structure, hololive Grand Reception does not have a conventional video-game programme, esports bracket or game-development conference schedule. Its programme is centered on interactive virtual-entertainment experiences and fan engagement.
The main programme includes:
The Welcome Area establishes the reception theme with decorations and music. The Opening Theater features dressed-up talent visuals, with the featured talents changing on a weekly basis. The main PARTY TIME area brings together representations of all 63 participating talents.
The IF STORY section presents results from fan voting on hypothetical questions imagined by hololive talents. The Guest Lounge changes between the two exhibition periods: the first half features welcome drinks designed by talents, while the second half displays special invitation letters prepared by the talents.
There are no conventional video games or game developers serving as the principal focus of this exhibition. Instead, the event highlights hololive’s virtual talents, original visual designs, digital content and interactive fan experiences.
The exhibition brings together 63 talents from across hololive’s Japanese, Indonesian and English branches, including representatives from groups such as:
The featured talent representation includes names such as Tokino Sora, Sakura Miko, Hoshimachi Suisei, Shirakami Fubuki, Nekomata Okayu, Inugami Korone, Usada Pekora, Houshou Marine, Mori Calliope, IRyS, Gigi Murin, Cecilia Immergreen, Fuwamoco, Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame and members of hololive DEV_IS.
No esports tournament, competitive gaming bracket or conventional gaming competition has been announced for the Tokyo exhibition.
Instead, the competitive or participatory element is represented through fan interaction. IF STORY is particularly relevant because visitors can see the results of audience voting on hypothetical questions created by talents. This makes the exhibition partially participatory rather than a passive museum-style display.
Visitors should therefore attend with the expectation of an interactive fan exhibition rather than an esports tournament. There is no announced championship match, team competition, game tournament or competitive leaderboard.
The event operates according to admission windows rather than tournament rounds.
On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, the available admission times are:
Certain weekdays have designated 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM admission periods. Other weekdays use a date-specific ticket that permits entry from 3:00 PM until the final admission time. The final day, November 23, has admission periods from 10:00 AM through 4:00 PM.
Admission is handled by numbered order rather than a first-come general queue. Visitors should arrive around 10 minutes before their designated meeting time and follow staff instructions.
The exhibition is not operated as a timed session once inside. Visitors are not required to leave at the end of their admission slot, although re-entry is not permitted.
The standard advance admission ticket is approximately $16 USD.
The main ticket options include:
The limited merchandise is a book-mat-style memorial artwork available in two designs. A merchandise exchange ticket does not provide exhibition admission by itself; an admission ticket must also be held.
Every paid visitor receives an invitation-style admission benefit. The invitation ticket has 63 possible talent designs, organized around eight key-visual groups. On weekdays, an additional group-design invitation ticket is provided while supplies last.
Ticket prices are approximate USD conversions and may vary slightly according to exchange rates and ticketing fees.
A conventional VIP ticket or premium seating package has not been announced for hololive Grand Reception.
The main premium-style experience is hololive Sign Simulation. This separately ticketed activity allows visitors to choose one participating hololive talent and experience a simulated signing interaction on a monitor. The system reproduces the talent’s signing moment and provides a printed photograph-style souvenir with the visitor’s attendance date.
The Sign Simulation participation ticket is approximately $13 USD and includes the special A5-size printed souvenir. It requires a separate hololive Grand Reception admission ticket, meaning the simulation cannot be accessed independently of the exhibition.
A dedicated exhibition audio guide is also available for approximately $6 USD. It consists entirely of newly recorded material created for the exhibition, with different talent groups available during the first and second exhibition periods.
hololive Grand Reception is not structured as a conventional trade show with independent game publishers, hardware manufacturers and software companies operating booths.
The principal organizer group consists of COVER Corporation, TV Asahi and Movic Promote Service, with Pia providing special cooperation. The event is presented as an official hololive production touring exhibition.
Rather than a commercial exhibitor hall, the exhibition uses dedicated themed areas to present hololive’s talents, history, visual identity, interactive experiences and official merchandise.
The hololive SPECIAL STORE is the main retail component. It sells exhibition-exclusive products featuring newly created dressed-up talent artwork. The merchandise lineup includes cards, tapestries, stickers, message-card sets, full-graphic T-shirts, acrylic products, badges, coasters and other collectibles.
The Tokyo exhibition is organized into themed areas rather than conventional gaming halls.
WELCOME AREA
The entrance creates the atmosphere of a formal party reception, with decorative elements and music welcoming visitors.
OPENING THEATER
Dressed-up talent visuals greet guests at the beginning of the experience. The featured opening video changes weekly, making the timing of a visit relevant to visitors who want to see particular talent appearances.
hololive PARTY TIME
This is the central exhibition area featuring all 63 participating talents. Visitors can take photographs, examine talent-related displays and explore the nine-question content prepared for the exhibition.
IF STORY
This interactive area presents fan voting results based on hypothetical questions created by talents.
GUEST LOUNGE
The first half includes welcome drinks designed by talents. The second half features specially prepared invitation letters.
SECRET GARDEN
The exhibition concludes with a dedicated photo opportunity where guests can create a commemorative group-style image with the talent displays.
SEE OUT hololive
This area provides the final farewell as visitors leave the main reception experience.
hololive SPECIAL STORE
The official merchandise shop sells exhibition-exclusive goods and requires an event admission ticket for access.
There are no traditional game demos or new video-game launches announced as part of the Tokyo exhibition.
Instead, the event’s interactive content includes hololive Sign Simulation and the specially recorded audio guide. These experiences are designed around the talents themselves rather than playable software.
The Sign Simulation is particularly notable because visitors can choose from the 63 participating talents available for the experience. The system presents a simulated autograph moment and produces a physical souvenir.
The exhibition also introduces specially created content that cannot be experienced through an ordinary hololive livestream or standard merchandise display, including the fan-voted IF STORY area and newly recorded audio-guide material.
Visitors should review the official event rules before attending.
Key requirements include:
TOKYO DREAM PARK is located at 3-3-8 Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo.
The venue is particularly easy to reach by rail. The nearest Yurikamome station is Tokyo Big Sight Station, approximately five minutes on foot from the venue. Kokusai-Tenjijo Station on the Rinkai Line is approximately nine minutes away.
The area is also accessible from Tokyo’s waterfront districts, including Odaiba and Toyosu. Visitors combining the exhibition with other sightseeing should allow additional time because weekends and public holidays can be busy around the Tokyo Big Sight and Ariake area.
Public transportation is recommended for the event.
Yurikamome
Tokyo Big Sight Station is approximately five minutes from TOKYO DREAM PARK.
Rinkai Line
Kokusai-Tenjijo Station is approximately nine minutes away on foot.
Bus and BRT
The venue can also be reached using Tokyo’s BRT network, with access from the Shimbashi area toward Kokusai-Tenjijo. Water-bus access is also available to the nearby Ariake passenger terminal, although services can be limited and should be checked before travelling.
Car parking
Paid parking is available at Times Tokyo Dream Park. The venue specifically advises visitors to use public transportation where possible because parking capacity can fill and vehicles waiting for entry cannot remain in an overflow queue. There is no dedicated vehicle drop-off area at the venue.
Visitors coming from outside Tokyo have several practical accommodation choices.
Ariake and Tokyo Bay
Staying around Ariake provides the shortest journey to the exhibition and is particularly convenient for visitors planning to spend time around Tokyo Big Sight, Odaiba and the waterfront.
Odaiba
Odaiba offers a combination of hotels, shopping, entertainment and waterfront attractions. It can work well for visitors turning the exhibition into a wider Tokyo Bay trip.
Toyosu
Toyosu is another convenient waterfront base with restaurants, shopping and rail connections toward central Tokyo.
Shimbashi and Ginza
Visitors who want stronger connections to central Tokyo can stay around Shimbashi or Ginza. The Yurikamome provides a direct route toward the Ariake area.
Tokyo Station
Tokyo Station offers a wider range of accommodation and transportation connections. It is suitable for visitors combining the exhibition with sightseeing across several parts of Tokyo.
The exhibition venue is designed to accommodate visitors using wheelchairs. The official event information states that wheelchair users can participate without submitting a separate advance application.
Visitors holding an eligible disability certificate who require an accompanying helper can have one accompanying person admitted free of charge, while the certificate holder must purchase their own ticket. The original certificate should be presented when requested.
TOKYO DREAM PARK also provides accessible facilities within the wider complex. The venue’s accessibility information states that barrier-free toilets are available on all floors, while accessible parking spaces are available within the shared paid underground parking area.
Because the exhibition uses numbered admission and may experience periods of congestion, visitors with accessibility requirements should allow additional time for entry and follow staff guidance.
The closest major previous-year comparison is hololive’s 2025 event programme, particularly hololive SUPER EXPO 2025 and hololive 6th fes. Color Rise Harmony.
The 2025 SUPER EXPO took place at Makuhari Messe on March 8–9 and used the theme “hololive ARCADE.” The event combined exhibitions, stages, merchandise, food and interactive experiences across large exhibition halls.
The accompanying 6th fes. introduced a large-scale concert format using two main stages and a central stage. The official report highlighted the central stage as a new format that allowed fans to experience performances from multiple viewing angles, while the first day featured 57 songs with live-band accompaniment.
hololive also continued its international programme during 2025–26 through the hololive STAGE World Tour ’25 -Synchronize!-. The tour visited seven stops across three continents and featured headline talents including Momosuzu Nene, Kureiji Ollie, Mori Calliope, IRyS and Nerissa Ravencroft, alongside 14 special guests.
These previous projects demonstrate the broader range of hololive’s large-scale fan events, while the 2026 Grand Reception takes a different approach by focusing on an intimate reception and exhibition concept rather than a large concert or conventional expo floor.
Official tickets are sold through Ticket Pia, with the Tokyo exhibition divided into separate ticket periods and admission windows.
The general advance sales period for Tokyo begins September 19, 2026 at 10:00 AM and continues through October 9 for the relevant advance-ticket allocation. Same-day ticket availability depends on whether individual admission slots have already reached their planned capacity.
The official Ticket Pia event page provides the current ticket availability and the appropriate date-specific admission options.

Children of all ages are welcome to attend, though elementary school-aged visitors and younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult guardian at all times. Strollers and large bulky luggage are restricted from entering the exhibition halls to ensure smooth crowd flow and safety.
Visitors must arrive strictly within their designated time slot indicated on their ticket to facilitate orderly crowd management and prevent venue congestion. Late arrivals forfeit their specific slot entry window and must coordinate with on-site staff regarding possible standby accommodation options.
Re-entry to the exhibition area is strictly prohibited once a guest has exited the primary gallery checkpoints. Attendees must ensure they complete all retail purchases inside the official store before stepping out of the venue boundary.
Photography and video recording rules vary by specific zones, with certain interactive areas permitting snapshots while other sections prohibit recording. Flash photography, tripod usage, and commercial filming are strictly banned across all indoor exhibition spaces.
Guests who misplace items should immediately notify the nearest venue staff member or security personnel on duty. Unclaimed lost property is typically held at the venue customer service desk before being transferred to local authorities following event closure.
Merchandise purchases are subject to strict per-item quantity caps and availability limits to ensure equitable access for all attending fans. Blind-boxed items and limited-edition anniversary collectibles cannot be returned or exchanged after purchase completion.
