What to expect

The International Space Industry Exhibition is one of Japan’s premier space business exhibitions and one of the largest space business exhibitions in Japan, bringing together robots and products specialized for space development and lunar exploration, rocket development and manufacturing, launch infrastructure, satellite utilization, and space-related services on the ground in the space-related market which is rapidly expanding in scale. The exhibition is organized by The Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun Ltd and hosted for the first time in March 2022, with scope greatly expanded for second exhibition, making it Japan’s largest industrial exhibition to focus solely on space business.

Expect a hybrid event that offers business matching opportunities for companies offering robots and products for space development and lunar exploration, rocket development and manufacturing, launch infrastructure, satellite utilization, and space-related services. The event brings together companies, research organisations, universities and space agencies involved in space development and utilisation. Its scope includes lunar exploration, launch systems, satellites, manufacturing, ground infrastructure and downstream space services.

The exhibition is held concurrently with Disaster Prevention Industry Exhibition, G-Space EXPO, and Green Infrastructure Industry Exhibition in some editions, creating cross-industry synergy. Following successful conclusion of 2026 edition held in late January at Tokyo Big Sight, exhibitors such as NYK Group unveiled strategic roadmap for integrating maritime expertise with burgeoning global space economy through Space-to-Sea solutions.
